At times, I found myself laying the book aside as I shed tears of sorrow for the main character, and outrage at a mother's lack of solace. I was living the history through this book. They believed in the wrong cause, and fought for the wrong man, that was their undoing. In fact, most of their classes will probably be taught by teaching assistants rather than the professors themselves.
